It’s also amazing because the camera is actually at eye level of the driver, and there’s only one way to achieve this- placing the device over the driver’s eye. So not only is he driving at high speed round Spa- in the wet too- he’s also doing it with only one eye.
We bow our heads to your fearlessness and skill, O nameless driver. Just kidding- his name is Lucas di Grassi, a Pirelli test driver. “I had to drive with only one eye open as the camera was blocking my other eye,” he said, “quite tricky.”
