Mclaren have just revealed this monster- the Mclaren GT 12C Can-Am Edition.
The 12C is meant to be the fastest supercar around a track that you can buy today (or so Mclaren claim). This must be crazy then, and it’s due to be shown off at Pebble Beach Concours.
Like all good track cars it’s got a load of weight stripped out, coming to only 1200kg. Couple that with an upped bhp of 630 and you’ve got a very fast car. The brakes are a whole new system too, making this one mean motor.
Aero is all changed too, if that wasn’t obvious. It may have a very good use technically, but it’s great aesthetically too. Shame about the big Mclaren writing on the side though- although it is designed for the more outrageous of buyers in the North American market.
Finished in classic Mclaren Orange and with an interior straight out of a proper GT car, it’s purely a track car. If you’ve already got your Ariel Atom, Radical, Caterham and Renault F1 car why not give this a go? It could be quite fun…
