Last year I went on a pilgrimage to one of the most wonderful places a car fan could possibly go- Meilenwerk Berlin.
It’s in Berlin, but to get to this early 1900s tram depot we had to take the S-Bahn (train system in the German capital) to a station with only a handful of people around, then walk down a long, almost deserted road.
It would have been difficult to find- after all, it looks like any old warehouse from the outside- were it not for the Ferrari 430 that blasted down the road and turned in. Building spotted, we stepped inside (for free, I should add).
What a place. As you can see in the pictures, it’s bursting at the seams with interesting cars- the kind we love here on Unlimited Mileage- just parked up for anyone to gawp at.
The “Classic Remise,” as they call it, describes itself as a place forĀ “garages, services and dealers for classic cars, shops for parts, clothing, model cars, accessories and restaurants”.
Most importantly for us, however, is the fact that it’s essentially a dream garage for any petrolhead. Check out the gallery below- and if you want to visit it yourself you can find out more on their website here (there’s one in Dusseldorf as well).
