A one-off V8 Aston Martin DB7 will be auctioned at Brooklands on Saturday September 1st.

The engine puts out even more power than the V12 DB7. Click to enlarge.

The car, which was commissioned by a member of the Saudi Arabian Royal family, features a 6350cc V8 Vantage engine in place of what would usually be a straight-six or V12 engine.

The race-tuned engine puts out 452 bhp, way up on ever what the V12 version could manage. Most of the internals- brakes, suspension and steering- have also been uprated to cope with the power increase.

It’s expected to attract offers of between £70,000 and £80,000 at auction.
